Felicity Sardeña wrote a song inspired by the children at DSSGG, using words from the Down’s Syndrome Creed, And what a song it is! Emotional, full of feeling, beautiful music and superb voices is what the critics have said. Felicity has really gone out of her way to create a wonderful piece of music which will appeal to everyone.
Felicity Sardeña has now recorded the song for us at Rock Recording studios so we can share with all of you. Our friend Gus Linares has produced a series of DVD slide shows with photographs provided by DSSGG members using Felicity’s music. We are now offering this unique product as a DVD set. All proceeds will go to the DSSGG charity fund. We are sure you, your friends and family will enjoy listening to the music and viewing the DVD while at the same time supporting the DSSGG. We have included three songs, kindly recorded for us by Felicity Sardeña and others (see individual song details below) together with three video slide shows. The DVD set includes 1x Audio CD disk with the songs for you to enjoy in your CD player and a separate DVD disk with the three slide shows which can be enjoyed on a DVD player. The disks are presented in a double DVD case with full colour inlay.
The DVD will be launched at the Convent Christmas Fair on Thursday 27 November 2008 (opening times 12pm to 5pm).
